Jacob was an elderly man who had a peaceful but impoverished existence. He remained to himself most of the time, although he liked working with charity organizations and teaching kids to play soccer. He was born wealthy, but when his father passed away, he left nothing to him and his brothers. He got a letter that would change his life one day.

67 years old. Jacob lived a calm life. He’d been a former construction worker for almost a decade and was struggling to make ends meet. He also had a lot of respect in his neighborhood. He spent a significant amount of time working with local schools and training children to play soccer.

Although Jacob was shocked, he decided to go to one of his neighbors for advice on whether or not to go to the forest. “It’s great to see you here, my buddy,” Karl said. “But why are you here so early?” “Does anything worry you?” Karl inquired.

“You know too much about me.” This morning, I got a letter from my father’s lawyer. “Here, read it,” Jacob replied as he handed the letter to his buddy.

“Wow! This is unexpected. ” What’s the issue? ” Karl inquired.

“Well, I haven’t told anybody, but my dad was very wealthy.” He possessed a series of long-haul trucks and successfully ran the company for decades. “When Grandpa passed away, his lawyer informed us that my two sisters, Elin and Linda, and I received nothing,” Jacob said.

Karl was taken aback by this discovery. “I know you and your sisters don’t chat much, but I had no idea your father was that rich,” he said.

“We don’t speak since we argued a lot after he died.” “None of us believed that our father had left us nothing, so we turned on each other,” Jacob said.

Karl urged his buddy to travel to the place specified in the letter. “Perhaps this will provide you with the peace you need to realize why your dad left you and your siblings, and it may also reconnect you with your sisters,” Karl speculated.

Jacob followed the suggestion of his neighbor and walked to the forest. When he arrived, he found his sisters already there. They wandered around the woodland cautiously, but saw nothing out of the ordinary. Until Linda saw an arrow pointing to a little cottage. They all entered the cottage after following the arrow. As they entered, they saw a hatch with a letter scrawled on it.

Jacob had a feeling his sisters might do something like this, but he didn’t want the fortune. He was just sad that, after 30 years, they had not changed.

The sisters entered via the hatch. They were in there for approximately 30 minutes and came out boasting about Jacob while carrying all the valuables they could locate.

“It’s your time now, Jacob, if you still find anything in there,” they added as they walked out, laughing.
Jacob stepped in and saw a family portrait of them as youngsters. It was framed in gold. He discovered a letter when he turned it over.

Generosity given is repaid in kind. Jacob’s father recognized Jacob’s generosity and compensated him for it decades after he passed.
