A pregnant lady was given the advice to get rid of her pets while she was carrying her child. Here is what she decided to do

Aditya Raheja and Sanjana Madappa felt an overwhelming sense of joy upon learning that they were going to become parents for the very first time.

They could not wait to tell their family and friends the fantastic news, and while everyone was thrilled by the news, they were offered unsolicited counsel that caught them by surprise. They are expecting a kid, so wouldn’t it be best if they got rid of their dogs before the baby arrives?

Sanjana is employed by CUPA, an animal welfare organization, in Bengaluru, India, where she lives. She and her partner, Aditya, foster a large number of dogs, and they also have five.

Sanjana stated, “I was urged by everyone and even my doctor to get rid of my dogs, that my baby came first.”

When individuals give up their pets, Sanjana says she is used to hearing about it at work since it is something she is used to hearing about. She commented, “I was told the same things that all those individuals who have decided to give up pets tell me.”

As someone who works in animal welfare, “I’m pregnant” is one of the most prevalent excuses I hear for people giving up their pets. “When I have attempted to advise these people, I have had it said right to my face that because I don’t have kids and haven’t had a pregnancy, I don’t get to have a viewpoint,” she wrote.

Sanjana and Aditya have no intention of ever getting rid of their dogs, but, in light of their exciting news, they have chosen to take advantage of the chance to share a good message in addition to their happy news by engaging in a unique pregnancy picture session.

The pregnancy of Sanjana was a challenging time for everyone. She was not allowed to leave “the boundaries of my house” because of the significant danger of premature birth that she faced.

“My pregnancy was more difficult than it should have been. She added, “I spent the first six months of my pregnancy glued to my toilet, and I even spent time in the hospital because I was vomiting up blood.”

“I couldn’t even begin to express all of the ideas that ran through my brain, but all I can really say to you is this: not once did I think, ‘Hmmm, my dogs have got to go.'”

Due to the difficult circumstances, she was able to endure her pregnancy with her “sanity intact” thanks to her dogs. “I couldn’t afford to lie in bed feeling bad for myself when I had these babies relying on me,” she said in the letter. “I had no choice but to get up and get on with my life.” According to what she wrote, “Taking good care of my dogs insured that I never felt obligated to blame my pregnancy, the baby, or my husband for the situation I was in.”

Regarding the advice that Sanjana would provide to families that were debating whether or not to give up their dogs when a member of the family became pregnant, she wrote: “To all those individuals, I can simply say this.” I don’t think it’s possible for me to have a clear conscience about giving away an animal who loves me and trusts me with the same degree of naiveté and innocence as my child does. I was unable to exclude a member of the family in order to make room for another.

“I will not betray a life that relies on me as much as my kid does.” He is the most important thing in my life. ” I will always respond to such individuals by saying, “Not without my dogs.”

Dog lovers all across the globe are responding positively to the cheerful story that Krishnan wrote, as well as the photographs that Naveen took. According to what Naveen had to say, “We are incredibly glad that this has been disseminated to a broader audience.”

According to Naveen, capturing pictures of the couple and their pets was a wonderful experience for her. I said, “I have the patience to cover the picture narrative of this incredible marriage because I have a passion for what I do and an obsession with my job.” “I love to identify the one-of-a-kind qualities in things.”

Sanjana and Aditya were thrilled to announce the arrival of their newborn son, Ayan, a whole week after their picture session!

Sanjana has been quoted as saying, “I can’t think of anything that could have prepared me for parenthood as well as my furry babies.”
