It’s difficult to find someone in North America who hasn’t heard of Jim Carrey.

With roles in films such as Dumb & Dumber, The Mask, Liar Liar, and Ace Ventura, the Canadian comedian rose to international prominence.

His goofy facial expressions and dramatic gestures instantly made him a fan, with all of us yelling “SSSSSOMEBODY STOP ME!” at some point in our lives.

Carrey, on the other hand, made it a point to include his daughter Jane throughout his career.

Jane Erin Carrey was born in 1987 to Jim and Melissa Wormer, her father’s first wife. She was frequently seen with Jim on his red carpet adventures, and her sweet smile made us all fall in love with her.

Jane began to realize her passion for music as she grew older. She auditioned for American Idol at the age of 24 and discussed the pressures of being related to a celebrity. She even mentioned that she was working as a waitress because she didn’t want to live off her father’s fortune.

“It was definitely fun growing up with him as a father; he’s not the most extravagant celebrity, so growing up was fairly normal,” Jane said. “Growing up in the shadow of something and trying to find your place in the world beneath this huge shadow is difficult.”

But now, at the age of 29, Jane has matured and found her place in the world. She is also a mother!

Jane Erin Carrey is now an adult with her own son. She married Alex Santana in 2009, but the marriage ended two years later. Her son Jackson Riley Santana, on the other hand, is adorable!

When Jackson was born, Carrey posted on social media about how happy he was to be a grandfather.

“Santana, Jackson Riley. My first grandchild was born today! This is how 7 lbs.11oz of California dynamite appears! “He tweeted about it.

Jane is still pursuing music, having recorded and performed a song for the end of Jim Carrey’s 2014 movie, Dumb and Dumber To.
