Despite the fact that the 13th Amendment abolished slavery in the United States more than 150 years ago, most Americans feel slavery’s legacy continues to have an impact on black people in American society today.

According to a Pew Research Center poll, four out of ten respondents believe the country has made insufficient progress toward racial equality, and there is skepticism, particularly among blacks, that blacks will ever have equal rights with whites.
However, racial disparities in early toddlers are unusual. Children, regardless of skin color, have an innate propensity to build long-lasting connections. In one viral video, two toddler best buddies exchange hugs on the sidewalk.
This demonstrates that youngsters are educated on racial equality and unfairness. It is passed down from generation to generation. Otherwise, there would be no distinction since, well, distinction makes no sense. We all belong to the same species.

For all the right reasons, a photograph conveying identical feelings is currently going viral.
The mother of the youngster penned an encouraging text about it, and it makes perfect sense:
«I’m not sure who this lady is, but tell her she’s fantastic if you know her.» Isaiah approached her two weeks ago during our final home game. He sat on her lap and they spoke as if they knew each other. It lasted barely about 20 minutes. However, she did leave just after halftime to meet up with her daughter.
Now consider tonight… Not long after we sat down at the game, Isaiah noticed her. When she waved at him, he approached her. I expected their interaction would be the same as it had been the last time, but I was mistaken. Isaiah smiled as he approached her, climbed into her lap, and placed his head on her shoulder. She greeted him cheerfully. As if she had just given birth, this lady rocked and rubbed Isaiah to sleep. It was very excellent!
We inquired if she wanted us to get him, but she insisted that she (and he) were OK!! Isaiah and this lady had never met before, except for 20 minutes during a game two weeks earlier. Tonight, I apologized to her and said that I had no idea why he continued to irritate her. She said it was no problem, and she wouldn’t say it again. He was introduced to her as a new acquaintance. She went on to remark that she only has one child, who is 15 years old, and that times like these are precious!!!
With all of the racial tensions out there, I’m delighted to see photos like this because it shows that race doesn’t matter to a lot of people. It most emphatically does not! Arguing over little matters causes us to overlook the basic pleasures of life. I’m sorry I didn’t get her name, but I’ll remember it for the next game because I’m sure Isaiah will find his way back to her. I adore her and have never met her!
We finally discovered who she is. Mrs. Angela is her name. She’s such a lovely person, you guys! It’s incredible how God brings people together for whatever purpose!

This is her response after discovering I had shared this photo for her:
«All praise, glory, and credit to God!» I was overcome with emotion when I read the post Star Balloon-Bradley published today. Everyone’s warm remarks have made me feel humble. Isaiah is really cute! I pray that people will see Jesus in all of this and realize His love is unfathomable, since that is how I want to love and live my life. I’m not worthy, but he certainly is! » -Angela
