Some people seem to be born with the ability to love and care for others! Ali Retelle’s family recently welcomed a new baby girl, and it was love at first sight when her toddler son met her! Ali, thankfully, recorded the charming first meeting.

A video shows the young boy holding his new sister in his arms and gazing into her tiny face. He begins to cry without seeming to notice, silently wiping the tears away with his arm while never looking away from the infant.

His parents inform him that he can talk to her, but she doesn’t answer, and he appears relieved that she can hear him. Older siblings will tell him to savor these days before she starts to speak, but that isn’t relevant right now.
