A lovely creation that demonstrates that grandparents’ love is unparalleled!

We invite you to view the photographs from the Generations photo project.

Yvette Evans produced this project.

The girl works in photography and lives in America, despite the fact that she was born in Lithuania.

The photographer’s parents live in their own country and are rarely seen because of their constant employment.

But once a year, Yvette travels to her native Lithuania with her husband and two young sons, where her beloved father and mother await her.

When the boys see their grandparents, whom they adore, they forget about their parents and spend practically all of their time with them.

And every long-awaited meeting elicits strong emotions, which Yvette chose to document.

Evans started a picture project called «Generations» when the photos turned out to be so genuine and compassionate.

For three months, the photographer collected photographs she took.

Other photographs were as powerful and memorable.

Such feelings, according to Yvette, are precious.

Because every meeting is long delayed, the children and their grandparents simply enjoy each other’s presence.

They don’t give a damn about their image in the frame and don’t purposefully pose.

The photographer feels that the older generation provides for children what neither parents, the media, nor even literature can.

It’s a unique experience, full of unconditional love and delicate warmth.

Although Yvette’s sons are still very young, they immediately grasp the importance of contact with their grandfather and grandma on an intuitive and subconscious level, so they are drawn to them, strive to spend as much time as possible with them, and cherish every moment spent together.

Have a peek at these images! They are quite emotive and genuine.
