Martin Pistorius’ story is incredible, having been trapped inside his own body for over a decade. He became ill when he was 12 years old and gradually deteriorated to the point where he was unable to move or communicate.

His doctors diagnosed him with a degenerative illness and informed his parents that he was unaware of his surroundings. However, he was. Pistorius could see and hear everything around him, but no one noticed…at least not for ten years.
