Chas Pyle, the school’s security guard, was roaming around a school one day when he noticed the metal panel that separated the wall from the cabinet. The guy spotted it, standing awkwardly. So he decided to remove the panel.

When he did it, he discovered a red item in the aperture. It was a bag.

It was a bag. Ches reasoned that a schoolgirl had hidden it and forgotten about it.

That was the case. However, the guard had no clue it was a genuine time capsule. He did, in fact, discover items from the 1950s in the bag.

The records revealed that it belonged to Patty Rumfola. In 1957, she misplaced her purse. It was unclear how this item got through the aperture, which was sealed off by a metal plate.

Patty continued to attend school for another four years and had no idea where the handbag she had misplaced was kept. Rumphola married after high school, had five children, and worked as a teacher.

Unfortunately, she passed away in 2013.

The contents of Patty’s handbag were recently disclosed online with the approval of her children. School supplies, a cosmetic bag, photos, papers, and even chewing gum were included.
