Sven and Lennart de Jong were born and raised in South Holland. Many of their games were held atop an old water tower. And how thrilled the de Jong family was when they were able to purchase the tower in Nieuw-Leckerland.

The structure first emerged in 1915. It was beautifully kept and sold for a hefty sum of 200,000 euros, which is how the men were able to transform it into a true five-story mansion.
They moved there with their family members: Sven and Lennart’s spouses approved the unconventional concept.

True, building a home takes a long time. It took almost 10 years to complete all of the repairs, but the guys completed it in 2020.
De Jong’s home started to earn the famous Dutch architectural prize, proving that the time and effort were well spent.

The inside of the tower mixes industrial architecture with a rustic tranquility. Scandinavian simplicity adds a comfortable touch to the environment.
And wide bay windows assist in naturally enhancing it.

The brothers split the floors evenly, two for each household and one for everyone. They now not only live in a huge dream home, but they are also appropriately proud of it. After all, Sven and Lennart de Jong’s home has been named one of the most beautiful in the Netherlands.
