Many sixteen-year-old males would be ashamed to be seen with their parents in public, much less hold their hand or sing with them. Jamie Gilpin, on the other hand, is not your typical adolescent. The Bridgend high school kid chose to apply for Britain’s Got Talent alongside his mother, Mel.
Despite the fact that the two had only been singing duets for a few weeks, the judges were thrilled with their natural ability. When they sang together, something wonderful appeared to happen. They chose Miley Cyrus’s song “The Climb,” which is an emotional song when played by the right people.
The mother-son combo are standing side by side on an elevated stage, flanked by a few musicians, as the song’s introduction begins. Mel begins the song by gazing tenderly at her kid. She has no qualms with letting Jamie lead the song next.
