Violet, an 88-year-old former nurse, took a flight back to the United Kingdom after seeing her daughter in New York. She had no idea she was about to have one of the most amazing moments of her life.
Violet had struck up a friendship with a young British guy named Jack, and the two had spoken before boarding the aircraft, during which Violet disclosed it was her ambition to fly in the front of the plane.
To her surprise, Jack and his family were flying first class, and what he did when he boarded the aircraft has earned him worldwide acclaim.
When Violet boarded the aircraft, a Virgin Atlantic flight attendant told her that she would be swapping seats with a first-class customer, enabling Violet to return home in comfort and achieve her dream.
Leah Amy, a Virgin Atlantic flight attendant, snapped photos of the two and shared them on Facebook in 2019, commenting,
“I’ve had the honor of looking after sportsmen, fashion models, and some Hollywood actors, but these two are my favorite passengers ever!”
“Violet and Jack”. Jack and his family had reserved tickets in our top-class cabin for a journey home from New York, but when he arrived, he proceeded to find Violet in economy and exchanged seats with her.
“The goodness of his heart,” he says. He then sat on the row of seats immediately next to the economy toilets for the whole of the trip, without making a sound or asking for anything. There was no fuss, no attention; he genuinely did it out of the goodness of his heart.
“Violet is 88 years old and has worked as a nurse in both the UK and America.” She flies to New York to visit her daughter, but has been unable to do so for some time due to a knee replacement. Her desire had always been to sit in the front row, and Jack made it a reality.
“You should have seen her expression when I put her in her bed after dinner.” She said her daughter would not believe her and demanded a’selfie’ to prove it, but she lacked a phone number and an email address. Can you handle these images being sent to you tomorrow? ”
