This is one of the most unusual small houses you will ever see. The house is built on a triangle plot of land in Japan, where a river and a road intersect. It’s the size of a modest apartment at 594 square feet, but with high ceilings, huge windows, and three levels, it seems like a full-sized house!
The Riverside House was created by architect Kota Mizuishi for a family of three, and the photographs below. The home’s architecture not only makes use of its peculiar lot but also of the riverbank vistas.
It’s a mini-marvel in terms of design, with a delightfully bright and contemporary vibe. You’ll see what I mean when you go around the house with the photographs below!
