“There is only one MVP, and he die.d on a cross during a humanitarian rescue operation”…

Tim Tebow, the former University of Florida Heisman Trophy winner and current player for the Denver Broncos, recently received the Sports Impact Award at the K-LOVE Fan Awards.

Tebow accepted the trophy with a passionate speech about compassion for the most vulnerable individuals and proclaimed Jesus Christ to be the only MVP.

Tebow opened his address by thanking the audience and the presenters, and then made a few jokes about the presenters, stating, “Thank you very much.” Let’s be honest, Matthew: you’ve never considered running a marathon. And, regrettably, your shorts showed it. ”

“Guys, it’s truly an honor to be here, particularly among so many icons and inspirations,” he concluded. To be able to sit alongside Toby Mack and Chris Tomlin, as well as so many other champions of the faith, is an honor. ”

“Guys, I just want you to be excited because I know it’s getting hard for so many of you, but you encourage so many people, and I want you to keep it going because you have no clue the effect that you’re having on so many people across the globe,” Tebow said to the audience.

“I want you to know that and to be encouraged.” People are inspired by you. Do you know what it means to be inspired? It implies arousing someone’s desire to do something and then acting on that desire. You fill them with the desire to follow Jesus and don’t let up. That is why what you are doing is significant. “That’s why being here is important,” Tebow said.

Tebow began his personal narrative by praising K-Love, saying, “When I was 15 years old, I had the chance to meet a guy in the jungles of the Philippines who was born with his feet backwards.” As a result, his people saw him as cursed, unimportant, and discarded. But that day, I realized he wasn’t a throwaway to God, and he certainly wasn’t a throwaway to me.

And, you know, up until then, and even so many times after that in my life, I’ve been pursuing dreams to be the greatest, to win games, to win MVPs, to try to be the best,” Tebow concluded. And there’s nothing wrong with that, but eventually, on that day and for many days following, God changed my perspective on what it means to be an MVP, to be the most important player.

“Because he eventually affected my heart that day.” “The MVP I should be pursuing is the world’s most vulnerable individuals,” he proclaimed.

“Because, eventually, there is only one MVP,” the Heisman Trophy winner said. And He di.e.d on a cross in order to save mankind. And He has told us to go defend the weak, safeguard the poor, and seek out those in need. ”

“And let me tell you something: there are a lot of people suffering all around the globe.” That indicates we have a major task ahead of us. Let’s get this task done. “God bless you people,” Tebow said.

During a speech at the March for Life in 2021, Tebow mentioned one of the most needy groups of individuals.

Tebow started his address by sharing the tale of his mother’s pro-life decision to have him despite countless people pressuring her to get an abo.r.tion.

After recounting the event, he said, “I’m very thankful my mom gave me a shot at life, since many times she could have made a different decision.” But because of her pro-life narrative, I now have the opportunity to tell mine. But only because my mother gave me the opportunity. ”

“I do think every single life counts to God,” Tebow said later in his remarks. You know who else I think stood and continues to stand for life? is Jesus, our Saviour. “As Jesus says in John, ‘I have come to give life, and abundant life.'”

“See, he was on a mission,” Tebow said. “That was a rescue operation for us.” That goal was to come down to earth, go to the cross, vanquish death, and conquer the world. That was his task.

Tebow also said in 2020 at the Kansans for Life Valentine’s Day luncheon, “It truly does mean the world more than winning the Super Bowl.” When you look back and see people talking about you, you wonder, ‘Oh my my, what are you going to be renowned for?’ “Will you say Super Bowl or we rescued a lot of babies?”

He also stated why he refers to Kansans for Life’s work as a rescue mission, saying, “You know why we call it a rescue mission? Because saying that puts a temporal limit on it.

“When was the last time you heard about a rescue operation in a month or a few years?” “No, a rescue mission implies right now,” he said. “It creates a feeling of urgency.” It states that we must go not because it is our time, but because it is their time. I must maintain a feeling of urgency because, although I may have time, others do not. ” What are your thoughts on Tim Tebow’s remarks on God and the most disadvantaged people?
