“I saved her life, and then, she saved mine…”

Amanda was diagnosed with severe depression after quitting her beloved job.

She decided to get a pet to help her feel less alone and give her a reason to keep living.

She came across this small black infant in the classifieds section.

She travelled a great distance to get Cookies from the other side of town.

Amanda was confident that the cat was parasite-free and that she had been healed of dehydration, but she was mistaken.

On the second day, when she was diagnosed with acute dehydration and worms swarmed in her stomach, she was sent to a veterinary facility.

Worms were not recommended for Cookie since they might compromise her immune system.

She also had a weight deficit, so Amanda cooked special meals for her and washed her on a daily basis.

After they got rid of the worms, another attack occurred, and another very deadly illness began, and her life was threatened.

But Amanda tried all she could to rescue her, and her efforts were successful.

She was fully well after a few months.

The girl, on the other hand, says she owes a lot to the cat since there were moments when she couldn’t even wake up from a feeling of despair, and then this tiny black baby was always there, and she felt her continuous support.
