When a girl decided to wear her «Pootergirl» costume to school for photo day, her parents had no choice but to accept! This is what she wore

Nowadays, every parent tries to raise their children, encouraging their independence but trying to lead them to the right path. It’s a parenting duality that doesn’t always appear as we expect—and no father is more aware of this than Austin Steinbach.

Kaylieann, his daughter, has always had her own ideas—a little independent firecracker simply took it to the next level during this year’s Picture Day.

Kaylieann has always had a fascination with superheroes.

She adores Superman and Supergirl . Kaylieann, in fact, attended the San Francisco Comic-Con with her father last month and got to wear the outfit all day.

«She didn’t want to take off her costume afterwards,» Austin tells Babble. And when it came time for photo day, the little one was surely not going to give up her new favorite attire. When her father gave her dress options for the day, she confidently strolled straight to her closet to display the sole option that would suffice.

«On picture day at school, she had a choice of clothes, none of which were Supergirl-related.» She stepped up, considered each of her options, turned, and exclaimed, «POOTERGIRL!» and well… «I couldn’t argue with it,» Austin remarked.

The gorgeous photograph has been bursting all over the Internet since it was released, with media outlets throughout the nation demanding to know more about this sweetness overload.

People were moved even more when Austin described his daughter’s deafness and the challenges she’s faced: «She’s 75 percent deaf [in] both ears.» However, he stated on Reddit, «both her mom and I are hearing.» «We just found out via her audiologist five months ago, and we’re studying ASL now and love it.»

But she’s learning quicker than us! I like how much her learning sign language has expanded her personality and language. It’s wonderful to see her grow and become herself. We’ve begun going to deaf organizations and get-togethers once a month, which has increased her confidence in signing tenfold. »

He and his wife are both touched by the outpouring of support from people in the deaf community. «The response and attendance from the deaf community has been incredible,» he remarked. «I still haven’t gotten through all of the letters of support and wonderful comments that people have given me.» I had no idea how many people would be moved by her photograph. »

Austin claims that the staff at his daughter’s preschool is quite encouraging of her showcasing her superhero spirit at school, since this isn’t the first time she’s shown up to class in a costume.

Little Miss Kaylieann has seen it all, from Wonder Woman to Batman to even Anna from Frozen. I don’t know about you, but I can’t WAIT to see what «Pootergirl» has planned for her next school photographs! Redditors are waiting with bated breath. And when Austin shared the adorable photo of Kaylieann standing with her guy, Reddit fans couldn’t get enough!
