Have you ever felt as though you were being observed by someone else? That’s how Kevon Smith, Sr. felt when eating breakfast with his son at Cracker Barrel.
Kevon and his child may have piqued the interest of an older couple dining at the restaurant the moment they pulled into the parking lot. Throughout their stay, the couple kept staring at Kevon and his baby.

When the Ohio father was enjoying breakfast with his young son, Kevon Jr., he couldn’t help but wonder why a specific couple couldn’t seem to keep their focus away from him. He didn’t have to guess for long, as it turned out.
When Kevon left the restaurant, it was clear why the two had been looking at each other: the letter from the pair had been spotted on the windshield of the father’s car.

“My wife and I would like to pay for your meal today,” said a piece of the message. Have as much enjoyment with that baby as the Lord allows. Continue in the same way as before, The Masons. ”
Together with the letter, there was enough money to pay for the dad and son’s meal; nonetheless, the Masons likely did not predict the degree to which the act of mercy would affect Kevon.

Kevon, Sr. had experienced most of his early years without the company of his biological dad. Thus, on the day Kevon, Jr. was born, he had already vowed to be a present and responsible dad for his kid.

As a result, the praise heaped upon him by the old couple came as a surprise, and the compassionate parent did not take the Masons’ present lightly.
“I’m certainly going to make sure that I’m paying it forward and being a benefit to another person,” he answered.
