Luc Perreault was out checking his mother’s motorcycle in Ontario, Canada, when he paused at a Tim Horton’s. A little girl said hello, but here is what happened after.
Luc is a huge guy. He enjoys riding a motorcycle. He enjoys drinking beer. He has several tattoos and a mustache.
Regardless of having tatoos and driving a motorcycle, he’s still a gentle giant. He, like everyone else, still has a lot of difficulties and anxieties.

And that’s alright because he realizes he’s just like everyone else, with their own problems. That’s why he tries not to pass judgment on others.
Not everyone, however, shared his sentiments. That’s exactly what he felt on that day.
He’s a large person, as he stated, and most people would be scared if they came across him. He said he “looked like he’d devour your soul if you looked at him incorrectly.”
A tiny girl observed him at the coffee shop. Instead of being afraid of him, she approached Luc and said hello. Luc returned the greeting, startled but pleased with the kind reception.
Other parents would typically be pleased when their little kids have strong personalities and choose to be nice.

However, the mom of this young child was not as accepting. She swiftly took her daughter away from Luc when she saw her daughter chatting to him. Luc noticed her mother informing the small girl that she wasn’t permitted to speak to “filthy bikers” as they went away.
Luc’s heart was broken. While he makes an attempt not to criticize others based on their looks, not everyone believes the same way he does.
He posted a strong comment on his Facebook page after being upset with how the mom responded in front of her daughter.
“To the Tim Horton’s family in the red SUV today,
Yes, I am a large 280-pound man with tattoos and a motorcycle. I’m a welder, I’m loud, I drink beer, I curse, and I look like I’d devour your soul if you looked at me the wrong way.

Here is what he posted on his Facebook account. His relatives and friends like what he wrote and posted it on their social media pages. Luc’s post soon became viral before he realized it!

Since he initially published it in 2013, the piece has been shared over 4,000 times. And it’s still being shared throughout the globe six years later.
It’s a feeling shared by people all throughout the globe, and it’s a lesson we should all remember.
