If you love sport, you will also adore figure skating. Every figure athlete should be not only physically strong but also mentally strong. And it’s tough to turn away when great skill is on display on the rink!

One example is Veronika Zhilina, an 11-year-old Russian girl.

When she comes on the ice, it is instantly evident that there is going to be a magnificent show. The charm gets stronger by the second—and then the light goes out, leaving just the glimmer of a single spotlight reflected off the rink, following the young figure skater in the white gown.

The crowd now switches on the spotlights, which gleam like a strewn constellation in the night sky. It’s all set to Alexandra Burke’s rendition of Leonard Cohen’s «Hallelujah.»

Veronica glides over the ice, doing remarkable high-speed pirouettes, whirling in a jump and stunning the mind.

It seems that about — and the girl will be unable to resist, she will tumble on the ice. But no! Veronica maintains her balance as most adults wish they could!

Without a doubt, Zhilina has a bright future in figure skating.
