The sweetest newborn moments often occur while the camera is out of reach. Yet, a parent’s excellent timing may occasionally result in a beautiful memory to treasure for years. This is shown in this video of a newborn twin duet.
Twin twins in swaddling blankets look up at the camera. They produce the nicest facial expressions while listening to their mom sing. They start contorting their features and moving their lips. They finally start singing along with Natalie, their mother.
“Our precious infant twins have been hearing this music since they were in the womb,” says the mother. They were four months old in this video, but since they were born early, their estimated age was just two months!’

With their eyes wide open, the twins stare at their mother and listen. As she sings, they produce gorgeous tiny grins and quirky faces. They are staring at her the whole time she is singing to them.
“When I started singing, they suddenly lighted up and knew precisely what to do, “Natalie writes.” Sure enough, the twins begin to speak. In an effort to create words, they make noises and curve their lips.
A parent should anticipate hearing vocalizations from their infant around the age of two months. They have the ability to ‘coo’ and ‘gurgle.’ Some newborns, like the twins in this video, create vowel sounds.
Babies communicate with noises as well as smiles. They wait for an adult reaction and often copy what their parents do with their faces. These twins wanted to imitate the singing down to the contour of their lips. It’s a much-needed daily dose of cuteness!
