It doesn’t matter if you are a movie fan or not; you have definitely seen “Grease” at least once.
The legendary film was based on the 1971 musical of the same name and featured actors and actresses who went on to have successful careers in Hollywood.
John Travolta is one of these actors. The “Grease” buzz continues to this day, and the film is regarded as the second most successful of all time.

It’s hardly a surprise, therefore, that on the 40th anniversary of “Grease,” there was a lot of anticipation for the 40th anniversary celebration in 2018.
We may be prejudiced, but four decades later, John Travolta is still as fantastic as he was 40 years ago.
And he still has the moves, as he demonstrated in a show with Jimmy Fallon.

Jimmy tries to describe a maneuver performed by Travolta with his partner, Olivia Newton-John, at the close of the film.
The four-sides dance is well known, and Travolta said, “I did grow up with all these types of novelty dances.” So they required a step in Grease for that ‘You’re the One That I Want’ at the conclusion. ‘Well, we used to do the four corners,’ I said. “Why don’t we do it?”
It’s a chance too good to pass up, and Jimmy seizes it by asking:
“Would you mind showing it to me?”
Travolta approaches the stage to acclaim from the audience, and “You’re the One That I Want” begins to play!

Jimmy is also a part of the action, standing next to the “Grease” star and mimicking his actions as he jumps on the soles of his feet.
Travolta is off, swinging his hips in the iconic “four corners” technique, walking forth and back and truly striking the “four corners” after waiting “until it gets into a nice rhythm.”
It’s a basic routine, and Jimmy quickly picks it up, the duo dancing in unison.
They clap and shout, and Jimmy encourages the audience to give it up for John Travolta, who is having so much fun that he is still dancing.
While many guys in their late sixties would wind up humiliating themselves on the dance floor, Travolta demonstrated that he still has it.
His dazzling looks may have played a role, but Vanity Fair reports that he was also a professional dancer before pursuing acting. That is always beneficial!
If you need a pick-me-up, John Travolta and Jimmy Fallon performing the “four corners” will do the trick!
