Carrie Underwood and Darius Rucker, two more country music giants, appeared in the special. There is no lack of Elvis Presley cover versions, but country music singer Blake Shelton certainly knocked it out of the park when he sang a version of Suspicious Minds .
A slew of musical talents gathered to commemorate Elvis for his accomplishments and contributions to the music industry in a special tribute concert. According to Billboard, Jennifer Lopez, Carrie Underwood, Darius Rucker, Keith Urban, John Legend, Ed Sheeran, and others performed at the memorial.

Shelton occupied the spotlight as both a performer and a host. Shelton sang If I Can Dream, Trouble, Guitar Man, and other songs in addition to the raucous version of Suspicious Minds.
It was hardly a surprise that Shelton was chosen to perform Suspicious Minds. The song was a great success in the country music world, and numerous musicians covered it. Dwight Yoakam’s 1992 version of the song was one of the most popular. Gwen Stefani, Blake’s girlfriend, sang the song with her band, No Doubt, in a 2002 tribute to Elvis. We’re certain that Shelton did Stefani proud with his own take on the classic song.
