Sharks attack a submersible vessel in the deepest part of the ocean

This riveting video of sharks eating in the depths of the ocean is sure to get your blood pumping! Scientists and filmmakers working on the upcoming BBC nature documentary series Blue Planet II come face to face with many dangerous bluntnose sixgill sharks, also known as cow sharks, as they feed on a whale carcass about 700 meters (2300 feet) below the surface.

According to the video’s description, the crew of Blue Planet II dove to depths of almost 700 meters in order to see what happens to a whale corpse when it is left on the ocean floor. «As we were recording sharks as they fed, we saw that the sharks were becoming more interested in the submarine.»

The sharks meet by accident because they think the submarine is there to steal their food, which is not true.

You shouldn’t keep this special time in nature to yourself; tell your loved ones about it.
