Being a parent is a very responsible duty, and you dedicate the majority of your time and energy to your children. Your first objective should be to make them feel secure, joyful, and at ease. Liza’s life as a single mother is no different.
She wanted a house in which she and her children might create wonderful memories. Liz’s vision and dedication resulted in Magnolia, the contemporary little home of her dreams, named after her mother’s favorite tree.

“As a single parent, cost was always a concern,” Liz said. “This was a way for me and my daughters to have our small cabin in the woods near a lake while keeping it inexpensive.”
Liz desired a contemporary small home for many reasons, including her retirement. Whatever happens, she and her daughters now have a home that follows them wherever they go!

The massive sofa in Liz’s trendy, compact abode is the first thing you’ll notice. She and her kids often cuddle on the sofa. There are three deep drawers underneath for additional storage space. The sofa also serves as a guest bed.
The dining bar and kitchen are located just beyond the living room. Liz can feel the freshness of fresh air as she cooks since the glass windows are totally open. Liz wants to build a covered deck that will connect the dining bar to the outdoor eating area.

Liz also wanted a large sink in her house, which helps a lot since she doesn’t have a dishwasher. Nonetheless, the compromise between space and money saved proves to be a worthwhile investment.
The huge sink, above all, contrasts wonderfully with the marble countertop and wood flooring. Liz’s kitchen has a propane stove, a huge refrigerator, and lots of work space, making it perfect for food preparation and small parties.

Liz’s children’s bunk room is located right beyond the kitchen. The bunk beds will provide plenty of room for the girls to host sleepovers with their friends. The room may seem tiny at first glance. Liz, on the other hand, made certain that there was plenty of storage space under the bed.
You’ll also note that the girls’ room is devoid of toys. Liz wanted the girls to make the most of their setting, which included the whole outdoors as their playground. The girls’ bedroom, like the rest of Magnolia, has large glass windows that make the space seem more expansive and lively.

Liz’s bedroom loft is accessible through the stairs, which are designed with empty places for storage baskets. The loft has a king-sized bed and a fantastic outlook owing to two glass windows on each side.
The guest loft, on the other side of the cottage, has been temporarily converted into a play loft. Liz’s daughters like spending time in the loft, particularly on rainy days.

When there are additional visitors in the Magnolia home, the sofa in the guest loft converts into a large queen-sized bed. Liz’s home’s bathroom is one of its most appealing features. It has a full-size vanity, a toilet that flushes, and a big shower room that is separated by glass.

Summit Tiny Homes’ Oliver and Cera assisted in making Liz’s dream home a reality. Cera concentrated on the design features while Oliver and his team erected the cottage.

Regardless of the fact that the couple outsourced the majority of the labor, Liz felt involved throughout the building process. Magnolia’s color palette, furniture, and decorations all reflect Liz’s personality. This trendy little home is more than simply a place to live for a single mother and her children. Magnolia’s creation represents the realization of Liz’s desires.

She may now relax till she chooses to retire. Her daughters and the trendy little home will be there to accompany her wherever her heart leads her. There’s even room for six more folks to join in on the fun!
