Katy Perry and American Idol 7th season contestant Hunter Metts gave a unique performance at the season finale on May 23.

The former Idol competitor and judge sang “Thinking of You” live in Los Angeles, California. American Idol also included Fleetwood Mac’s Lindsey Buckingham, Sheryl Crow, Alessia Kara, Leon Lewis, Mickey Guyton, Luke Combs, Macklemore, Chuck Khan, Fall Out Boy, and idol judges Katy Perry, Lionel Richie, and Luke Bryan in the three-hour finale.

Chasey Beckham, Grace Kinstler, and Willie Spence were among the top three performers in the final. Alice Ray, Arthur Gunn, Cassandra Coleman, Casey Bishop, Deshawn Gonsalves, Hunter Meth, Philip Murphy, and others from the Top 24 were also asked to take part in the finals.
