Roads are the means by which all people travel from one location to another. However, not all roads were built the same, and not all roads are safe for drivers to travel on, as these 10 hazardous highways make abundantly evident. These highways may cause you to reconsider getting into your vehicle, as they range from one that winds over hilly terrain and has 99 hairpin curves to another that passes through a desolate desert and is frequented by robbers. Even the roads that are available at sea level have the potential to damage your journey and your vehicle.

I would have to say that the Zoji La Pass (beginning at 5:29) is the most terrifying road I’ve ever seen. After driving on these roads, I won’t be able to grumble about the length of my commute ever again!
