Brendan Murray recently went on The X Factor UK to try to win one of the show’s six seats in the “six chair challenge.”
Murray grabbed the stage, telling the judges that he had come to realize a goal and that music was his love. They wish him luck, and he turns to face the other contenders who have taken their places on stage. Brendan then begins singing “Everybody Hurts,” a popular song written and sung by R.E.M.

‘S voice astounded everyone, even the judges. You can also hear the other finalists discussing how incredible he sings. The other candidates’ heads droop as Brendan achieves the song’s high notes, knowing that one of them will not be on stage for long.
Brendan sings with so much emotion that you feel all of his feelings as well as what the song’s creator wanted you to feel.
Brendan gets a standing ovation from the crowd and the judges after concluding the song, and he falls on the stage in a squat, as if in tears.
Simon Cowell informs Brendan that he is in a separate category from the other candidates. Another judge approaches Brendan and expresses his wish to talk with him before pushing the button that sends the candidate to the next round of the competition. Brendan is pleased, and everyone is looking forward to hearing this wonderful performance once again.
