Vivienne began receiving her favorite flowers every week for months after her husband Albert passed away, but she had no idea who sent them

Vivienne began getting her favorite flowers every week for months after her husband, Albert, died. They put up a security camera to figure out who sent them since none of her kids or grandkids did. However, the truth was revealed one day. Albert and Vivienne Harrison spent most of their 55-year marriage in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was devastated when Albert passed away naturally at the age of 86. Fortunately, she had a large family to keep her company!

They had three kids and six grandkids, and only a few months before Albert passed away, their first great-grandchild was born. Vivienne knew they had had a long, joyful life full of love, so her heart was at rest, despite the fact that she missed Albert badly. A few months later, she returned home from church to discover a bouquet of her favorite flowers in her entryway. “Aren’t they the most beautiful roses?” As she scooped them up, Vivienne shouted.

Miriam, her daughter, told her that she had not delivered them. Vivienne tried calling both of her boys, but neither Andrew nor Blake answered. They all promised to check with their kids to see if any of them had done anything. After a few phone conversations, no one in the family could figure out who did it. “I’m sorry, Mom.” None of my kids did. Miriam said, “Gina said she had seen a movie where an old man told a flower seller to send flowers to his wife after he died.”

“Do you think it was your father?” Vivienne was baffled. “I’m not sure, but I remember Dad sending you flowers from the same spot every time.” “It can’t hurt to inquire,” Miriam said. So Vivienne called their favorite florist, but they didn’t have Albert’s order. She phoned Miriam once again, but her daughter Gina was baffled. “Come on, Mom. Perhaps a random bouquet was brought by a stranger. Simply have fun with them. ”

Vivienne ignored the occurrence for the rest of the week and went about her work. Another bouquet awaited her when she returned from church the next Sunday. ” It’s odd, Miriam.” “What if he’s a creep or one of those stalkers I’ve heard about?” she thought. “Stop watching crime documentaries, Mom.” That is not correct. Miriam murmured, “Just enjoy the flowers.” She reasoned that her mother shouldn’t be worried about flowers. However, the flowers continued to come every Sunday, and Vivienne was curious as to what was going on.

“Come on, Grandma. I bought this security camera for your front door. “It records who comes to your door and such,” Hanna, Miriam’s other daughter, said as she approached her grandmother. They were waiting to see what would happen when she placed the camera herself. They observed a strange guy carrying a bouquet that Sunday. He fled after abandoning them on her doorstep. “That’s odd, Grandma.” “It’s a young dude,” Hanna observed while watching the footage.

He did. Every Sunday at the same time, the guy comes by to bring the flowers. Finally, Vivienne had had enough and decided not to go to church in order to capture him. Hanna and Andrew’s kid, Jake, remained with her this time just in case. “See? It’s strange.” I informed your mother about it, and she doesn’t think it’s a big problem,” Vivienne answered.

“I suppose he’s simply a delivery guy.” “I don’t believe he’s the one who sent the flowers, despite the fact that he’s not wearing a uniform,” Hanna noted. “We’ll see if he comes back again.” When the guy appeared, they were viewing the camera’s live feed. Jake dashed to the door, which he opened, and the guy fled. But Jake dashed after him, leaving Hanna alone with Vivienne.

Jake apprehended him before he could flee and returned him to his grandmother’s home. “What is your name, young man?” “How come you send flowers here every week?” Vivienne inquired harshly. “This is difficult to convey, Mrs. Harrison. “My name is Michael, and your grandpa was my grandfather,” the guy said. “What? Are you insane, man? We all know each other’s cousins. “There is no way,” Jake said fiercely. “I understand how difficult it is. According to what I know, Grandpa Albert had an affair just before his marriage. My grandma didn’t find out she was pregnant for many months.

She then reared my mother on her own. “However, I contacted Grandpa a few years ago,” Michael said. “We got along well. He told me about your family and wanted to meet you all. However, the moment was never perfect. He told me the last time I talked with him that if he died, he hoped I would give you flowers as an apology for not telling you the truth sooner. ”

“I can’t believe that,” Hanna said quietly. Jake’s head trembled. Vivienne, on the other hand, knew the youngster was speaking the truth. He resembled Albert after they were married. “You are an identical copy of my late spouse.” “Do you think I’d be able to meet your grandmother?” Vivienne inquired. She had several questions for the lady. “I apologize. When I was 20, my grandmother and mother died in a vehicle accident. That’s why I contacted Grandpa. “I have no relatives left,” Michael said. “Oh, my darling. I apologize. In any case, I’m delighted you had the opportunity to meet Albert.

He was a family person first and foremost. “The rest of the family may be surprised, but they will want to meet you,” Vivienne guaranteed. The whole family was stunned to hear of Grandpa Albert’s affair, but at Vivienne’s persuasion, they embraced Michael. They held a BQQ party where everyone had the opportunity to meet him. Michael also showed them around his wife and their kids. “How can you be so calm about this, Mom?” Miriam inquired about her mother at the party.

“Oh, dear. Life is very brief. If I had discovered this occurrence years ago, I may have been furious. But now I’m just happy to have more folks to adore. He also followed your father’s desires in order to make me happy. “That reveals the kind of guy he is,” Vivienne said. Finally, Michael built a wonderful relationship with the majority of his cousins, who were all about his age. It took his aunt and uncles a bit longer to accept him, but they did in the end. Most surprisingly, Michael felt feelings for Vivienne. Every Sunday, he kept sending her flowers, and the old lady always invited him to tea.
