Teacher follows her 12-year-old student and finds out that he hunts through garbage cans for food before Christmas

When the teacher saw that her pupil was not eating his lunch and was often searching around for food, she became curious and started to follow him. What she found along the road completely transformed her life.

Sandra Elliott works as a teacher at Nashville’s Summerville Charter School. This lady was a doctoral candidate. When she and her husband James were unable to have kids, she got a job that required much more than her academic credentials in order to be closer to the kids.

Sandra had a soft and caring demeanor, and all of her pupils adored her as much as she loved them. She was always willing to assist them and was interested in their lives outside of school. Who would have guessed that her curiosity would take her to an unexpected discovery?

Sandra was walking through her classroom during lunch break when she observed one of her kids, Robin Hollister, 12, sitting quietly in the corner, peering out the window. His lunchbox was directly in front of him, but he hadn’t even opened it, and he seemed disoriented.

Why is he not eating? Robin is always the one who is most looking forward to the lunch break. Is he feeling okay today? ” As she was going to approach him, she pondered. But then Mrs. Anderson, the school principal, phoned, and she had to go.

Sandra had mentally planned the following day, before lunch break, to question Robin about why he hadn’t eaten his meal the day before, but when she came into class, he was nowhere to be found. She observed Robin going away with his lunch and a plastic bag in his hand as she peeked out the window.

Sandra swiftly left the school and silently followed Robin, where she saw the youngster going through the garbage, furiously picking up the remnants and placing them in the bag.

“Oh dear,” she gasped in horror, hiding her lips. “What is he thinking?”

Robin abruptly raised his head, glanced around for anybody who could have seen him, and dashed away.

Sandra wanted to go after the youngster and ask him why he was doing this, but she still had a few classes left before her shift ended. So she made plans to see Robin the next day. However, Robin was unable to be seen the next afternoon.

She peeked out the window but didn’t see him, and when she dashed behind the school to the garbage can, he was nowhere to be found. She kept going past the trash can, frustrated, until she observed Robin crossing the street with the identical bag he used to fill with leftovers.

Every day, I’m going to find out where this kid travels. I’m convinced he’s been concealing something all along! “Sandra reported her absence from school to the principal, alleging a medical ailment, and got a cab to follow the youngster.

Christmas was almost approaching. Sandra knew that if she told the principal she needed time off for any reason other than health, she would be turned down since there was so much work to be done for the school Christmas party. So, even though she didn’t want to, the lady was forced to lie.

She asked the cab driver to drive slowly so Robin wouldn’t see her. She saw the child pacing cheerfully along the street with the leftovers, but she had no clue why.

Suddenly, Robin entered a tight alleyway that Sandra’s cab couldn’t access. She got out of the vehicle and followed him till he came to a halt in front of an abandoned home.

Sandra crouched in an alley near the home, keeping an eye out for Robin, who dashed away, leaving his backpack and lunchbox on the porch. She made the decision to approach him from behind and confront him. But suddenly, the door to the ancient home opened, revealing two youngsters, a boy and a girl. The girl seemed to be Robin’s age or older, and the kid was no more than five.

Sandra began approaching the home, curious as to who they were, when she observed a lady come out. Her hair was tangled, and she had a serious expression on her face. Sandra noted that the children’s smiles faded as they turned to face the lady.

How many times have I warned you not to leave the house without first getting permission from me? You are as worthless as your father, children! He never listened to me, and now you two scumbags are doing it! ” She yelled at the children, clutching their ears and twisting them until the youngsters started to scream out in agony.

«Mommy! Please, please, please don’t do this! ” The young lady shouted. “It bothers me.” Of course, Mommy! We are really sorry,» the youngster stated. Sandra couldn’t take it any longer when she observed the lady causing harm to the children and decided to speak out for them. As she approached the lady, though, she detected a distinct odor of alcohol.

“What type of mother are you?” She firmly said, “I know they’re your kids, and I shouldn’t meddle, but can’t you see they’re in pain?”

And who are you to step in? They are my kids. “I will do what I want!” said the lady.

The youngsters snatched themselves from their mother’s arms and snuck up behind Sandra. Please help us. She does not feed us and spends all of our money at home on booze. He has left us because he is sick of her. “Please don’t leave us with her! The girl begged.

“Don’t worry, okay?” Sandra reassured the young lady. “She’ll never harm you again!”

Sandra hastily picked up the phone and called James, urging him to come right now. He was a Tennessee State Police trooper, and thankfully, his unit was in Sandra’s neighborhood. He and his colleagues came in seconds and saved the youngsters.

Catherine, the woman, was arrested for mis.t.r.eating her children. When the police searched her house, they found bottles of alcohol and a briefcase full of cash, which they think she got by taking all of the insurance money that her children’s father had left for them.

Sandra and James drove Jessica and Spencer to the police station, where they gave their statements, and then drove them home, where Sandra bathed, fed, and clothed them.

Later that evening, while sitting next to the sleeping children, Sandra and James decided to adopt them and give them a new life. They had been trying to have children for years, and God finally chose to reward them with not one, but two adorable children!

Catherine, on the other hand, who was violent towards her children, was stripped of her parental rights and condemned to jail by the court. At the Christmas party, Robin was praised by the school administrator for being brave and kind when he helped Jessica and Spencer.

The child had gone missing with the leftovers every day at noon because he was frightened his mother would chastise him if she discovered he was assisting Jessica and Spencer. Catherine was an alcoholic who didn’t seem like a decent person, so she cautioned him to keep away from the children. However, because of Robin’s actions, his mother finally realized that she should have assisted Jessica and Spencer rather than avoided them.

So, on Christmas Eve, she invited Sandra, her husband, and their children to her house, where she prepared a magnificent Christmas meal of honey-glazed ham, stew, green beans, and her renowned roast turkey with gravy.

They all enjoyed a nice supper together, exchanging tales about each other’s lives and applauding Robin for not only doing the right thing, but also for delivering a miracle to the lives of two children who were living a wretched existence on Christmas Eve.
