Charity captured one second of every day and stunned the world

This video is really strong and frightening. What was even more upsetting was discovering that what was seen in the film was something that hundreds of youngsters were going through right now.

This movie was created by Save the Children as a striking reminder that war is not an abstract concept. It’s true and is occurring right now to millions of families just like ours.

Little has changed since the filming in 2016. Children in countries like Afghanistan, Yemen, and many others have to deal with famine and other dangerous living conditions.

The UN asked countries to get 27,000 kids out of a big camp in northeastern Syria by January 2021.The youngsters came from 60 different nations. Many were the sons and daughters of Islamic State militants who had been “stranded or abandoned to their destiny.” According to UNICEF, at least 4.7 million children in Syria need humanitarian aid.

The West’s retreat from Afghanistan, COVID-19, climate change, and the conflict in Ukraine have only aggravated the situation in 2022. World Vision Canada says that before the Ukraine/Russia conflict, there were a record 345 million people who were so hungry they were about to die, and 50 million were on the edge of famine in 45 countries.

According to UNICEF, the number of people afflicted by hunger worldwide might reach 828 million by 2021.

Please forward this to your friends and family. It’s critical to remember that “just because it’s not occurring here doesn’t mean it’s not happening.”
