Kim Kardashian has finally unveiled her genuine talent — or rather, talents — after years of spiteful comments that she became famous without having any exceptional talent. On September 6, the reality star told Interview magazine that she has a “million f*cking talents” and listed a handful of them. “I can cook good and do everything with my toes,” she admitted. “I could tell you some of the strangest f*cking sh*t on the globe.”
The SKIMS creator then elaborated on what she considers her greatest talent, which is related to her numerous enterprises and product lines, including her recently released SKKN brand. “I think my talent is marketing and the business behind selling items, and knowing what the customer wants and making it feel accessible but also a little impossible,” she added. “I wouldn’t call it a talent.” I believe it is a combination of magic and commercial savvy. I’m not sure if it’s talent or not. ”
Kardashian went on to reflect on her reputation for not having any skills, which she believes stems from her family’s first reality show, Keeping Up With the Kardashians. “I believe it stemmed from people asking, ‘What are you famous for?'” “Well, we have a TV show,” I say. “But just because we’re not singing, dancing, or acting in the show doesn’t mean we didn’t get famous from it,” she remarked. “But then I’d use that as a hashtag, which isn’t terrible for a lady with no talent, since people used to ask, ‘Well, what do you do?'” “What is your skill?’ And I’m like, ‘I had no idea I needed one.’ ”

Kardashian and her entire family have been chastised for their apparent lack of skill throughout their careers. In a 2011 interview, Barbara Walters publicly informed Kardashian, her sisters Khloé and Kourtney, and their mother Kris Jenner that they “don’t have any talent,” despite naming the family one of her “10 Most Fascinating People” that year. “You don’t really act, sing, or dance,” Walters said, prompting Khloé to point out that they’re “still entertaining people” on reality TV. “I believe it’s more of a struggle for you to go on a reality show and have people fall in love with you just for being you,” Kardashian continued.

In a 2016 interview with 60 Minutes, the reality star expanded on this statement, arguing that the success of her brand speaks for itself. “Having a brand that is extremely effective at getting people to like you for you is a talent,” she noted. “I’d imagine that requires some type of talent, you know?”
