Hankey told the newspaper, “I could have jumped out of my shoes.” “I requested a hat from her. I was hoping she’d send one to me. On her birthday, though, she sent a gorgeous photograph. ”

According to Hankey, the two never met but had a love of cooking.

“The queen preferred meals that included marmalade. And I do as well. What do you think? ” Hankey stated

Hankey told the newspaper that she will miss talking to the late Queen of England, who was her friend.
