Drunk driver’s mom mocks the victim’s family in court. The judge’s response shocked everyone

Amanda Kosal waited for the judge’s decision in a tense courtroom.

Amanda, from Redford Township, Michigan, was drunk when her car crossed the center line and hit an SUV coming the other way.

Jerome Zirker, 31, died in the tragedy, and his fiancée, Brittany Johnson, 31, was badly injured.
According to accounts, Zirker had just picked up Johnson after her 12-hour shift at the group home where she worked. Their five children were usually with them, but they were at their grandmother’s place that day.

Fortunately, they were at Grandma’s house, or it would have been all of us,» Johnson later said to WDIV Local 4.

Amanda had pled guilty to driving under the influence and causing death.
She and the victims’ families were now awaiting Judge Qiana Lillard’s decision.

Nobody could have predicted that the next scenario would become viral.

A man in the courtroom is seen smiling and laughing while waiting for the serious ruling.
As you can expect, Judge Qiana Lillard is enraged.

«It’s time for him to leave,» she declares unexpectedly.

I’m not sure who he is, but anyone can be here at such a horrible time and joke and smile when someone has lost a family member… I mean, throughout Mr. Zirker’s sister’s speech, that clown—and that’s what I’m going to call him, a clown—sat there smiling and laughing. »

Amanda’s mother, on the other hand, appears to have missed the judge’s note. The judge notices her making expressions in the rear right away.

«You, too, can leave,» the judge tells Donna Kosal. «Because you may go to jail if you don’t know how to act.»

Donna Kosal, on the other hand, was not pleased with merely exiting the courtroom. Instead, on her way out, she began screaming and making a mess, «further interrupting proceedings,» as Judge Lillard subsequently stated. The judge, on the other hand, had had enough.

The judge calls Donna Kosal back into the courtroom, arrests her for criminal contempt, and sentences her to 93 days in prison.
«Does anyone else want to come?» «Try it,» she says to the group.

The video has already been seen over 25 million times since it was uploaded.
The following comments were made on the video:

«What makes individuals believe they can come into a courtroom and behave like that?» «She couldn’t have imagined there would be no repercussions.»

«Did she honestly believe she could have an outburst at a JUDGE and not face consequences?» She had clearly forgotten where she was. IDIOT.”

«May God bless the families of these two victims.» I’m glad this judge did an excellent job of supporting them. «I hope this brings you some calm.»
