Rosa Saito’s image of a fashion model is not universal. She is 71 years old and found her love of modeling later in life.

She did, however, show that the world’s superficial and conventional beauty standards do not correctly represent what it means to be beautiful. Rosa Saito believes that age is just a number in the modeling industry.

She remembered how much she loved the arts as a child and how she frequently demonstrated this in school. Rosa explained, «I was the only one who filled the classroom walls with drawings that told a story.»

Rosa, like the rest of us, has faced her fair share of trials and tribulations in life. She was only 22 when she was forced to care for her ailing mother while her peers were studying or working.

Her husband died in 2000, leaving her to raise their three children. She has had to raise them on her own since then.

Despite her challenges, she found solace in gardening. «It is vital to seek and discover oneself.» And I’m having a peaceful moment with them. «I go to my garden and communicate with them,» Rosa explained.

Rosa’s Career as a Fashion Model

Rosa was always aware that she was meant to do something creative, but she never imagined herself as a model, especially at her age.

It all started when two modeling scouts approached her unexpectedly and invited her to join their agency. Following that, she was approached by a photographer who asked her to be their model.

«Three times it was done by Mega modeling agency specialists and once by a photographer.» After all, it had cost me money to allow the concept to mature for a year. «I wasn’t going to rush into it blindly,» Rosa explained.

Rosa, 68, wanted to try her hand at modeling despite her lack of industry expertise. Her bravery led her down the road she was always intended to take.

She eventually discovered her life’s greatest passion and is still working on it. Setsuko Saito’s given name was changed to Rosa Saito to make it easier to pronounce.

Rosa appears to be a breath of new air in the world of fashion. In just a year, she went from having no followers to having over 22,000 followers.

Rosa, on the other hand, was uninterested in the spotlight. «I just want to do my best at what I love and find myself,» Rosa said. «I told myself, ‘Be what God wants.'» If I don’t try, I’ll never know.»

Rosa’s Goals in the Beauty Industry

Rosa is naturally tall and thin, and she is self-conscious about her appearance. As a child, she was raised on natural treatments and never took aspirin.

«It was all centered on tea, and in essence, I am anti-chemistry.» So I always took care of myself with aloe, coconut oil, and olive oil,» she explained.

When asked if she would change anything about herself, she stated that she would, but she is not unhappy with herself.

«I don’t believe the term aging is appropriate.» I’d say education. I’m still learning, and the more I learn, the less I seem to know. Time passes, but what is time, my heavenly Father? If I had to rate my soul, I’d say it’s a 22.

The beauty industry’s standards are oppressive to her, but she believes they will improve.

«I believe we are gradually changing. People are living longer lives and taking better care of themselves, so businesses must be more open in this regard and visualize these potential customers.»
