Before dancing to ‘Uptown Funk,’ a cute toddler waits for the beat to drop.

Some of the most amusing family moments involve small children dancing to their favorite music. When a toddler gets down to the beat, their unpolished movements and expressions are hilarious to watch.

Little Maddie is no exception. She’s strapped into a car seat, but that doesn’t stop her from dancing when she hears Bruno Mars’ ‘Uptown Funk’ on the car stereo.

Her family is waiting to see what Maddie will do as the first verse plays. She bobs her head slightly to the beat, a small smile on her face indicating that this is her jam.

When Bruno sings, ‘Girls hit your hallelujah,’ Maddie raises both her index fingers. She appears to be saying, ‘Wait for it.’

Her head bobs a little more as she waits for the chorus beat to drop. When Bruno sings, ‘Don’t believe me, just watch,’ the horns sound.

Maddie puts both her hands in the air with palms facing the sky. She starts raising the roof and bopping all around in her car seat. Her family laughs, and her Aunt says, ‘She knows where the beat is!’

Maddie starts to wave at the camera on the beat as the song continues. She alternates between hands for her big finale. The music cuts off, and Maddie says, ‘Yay! Yay!’ while clapping her hands and smiling big.
