Dr. Alice Splinter was at her clinic on a regular day, and as she walked into the room to see her patient, she was surprised to see her soldier husband after five months apart.

Joshua Splinter, a physician too, has been serving with the Texas Army Reserve, and was deployed in Africa, when he found out he was coming home early, he decided to surprise his wife, a paediatrician, with the help of a friend.
