As he lies motionless in bed, she cleans his chest. She moves the cross across his cheeks and forehead as if to bless him before placing her hand on his chest.

When we think of love, we often think of young couples, weddings, and starting a family. But our main goal is to love and support one another forever.

The Bible is an excellent example of this. In the story of Ruth, Boaz and Ruth’s love did not begin with a crush. Rather,

It began gradually through acts of service. They eventually married after falling deeply in love with one another.

I’m grateful that this priceless moment was captured on film and broadcast to the entire world. It makes me think about how we can show our loved ones that we care about them while serving them.
