Luca Trapanese is a 41-year-old Italian man. In 2017, he realized his dream of becoming a father. Alba, a special little girl who was only a month old when he took her in, had not yet been born.

Luka had always wanted to be a father, but life circumstances forced him to adopt a child from an orphanage. It wasn’t easy at first.
The authorities refused to give the man a cub to raise because he lived alone.

He finally got the green light in 2017, but there was one catch: the child could only have mental or physical issues. Luke, on the other hand, did not give up.

Alba was born with Down syndrome, but Luca adopted her when she was only 13 days old.
Because her daughter was so sick, the mother placed her in a shelter, and 20 other families did the same.

Since he was 14, Luca has worked as a volunteer in many places, especially with kids who have special needs. So, he took Alba in without being afraid.

“When I first held her in my arms, I knew she was my daughter!” It was my first time holding a child that small.
“That made me very scared,” the man admitted.

Now Alba is a man’s whole world. The girl has grown up and is happy with
life, and so is her father. Luka says that this special girl has changed
her life in every way.
