There are numerous stories floating around about children who have grown up to look exactly like their famous actors or model for parents.

There are a few famous kids who make us do a double-take when we see them. Michael J. Fox’s twin daughters, Julia Roberts’ daughter who looks exactly like her mother, and even Elvis Presley’s grandson are among the famous offspring.

Will, Christopher Reeve’s 25-year-old son, not only looks like his father but is also making a concerted effort to carry on his father’s inspiring legacy.

What does a hero resemble?
For millions of kids growing up in the late 1970s and early 1980s, Christopher Reeve was a hero.

He first took the DC Comics hero Superman to the big screen in 1978, and for that portrayal, he received the BAFTA for Most Promising Male Newcomer.

The pleasant and attractive actor went on to appear in three more superhero films.
Christopher Reeve, on the other hand, was much more than just an actor; he also directed films, produced films, wrote screenplays, rode horses, and was an activist.

Millions of his followers were stunned when, in 1995, he was thrown from a horse and placed in a wheelchair.
He was only 42 years old when his condition deteriorated. He is now paralyzed on all fours.

He was only 42 years old when he became a quadriplegic.

Reeve spent the rest of his life in a wheelchair, breathing with a portable ventilator.
He could have given up, but instead, he focused on activism with his devoted wife Dana, founding the Christopher Reeve Foundation.

It was then renamed the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation.

Furthermore, the couple was responsible for establishing the Reeve-Irvine Research Center, which advocates for persons with spinal cord injuries and sponsors stem cell research.

The actor went away in 2004 at the age of 52.
Dana, his wife, and caregiver died 17 months after he died of a malignant lung tumor, despite never smoking.

With his ex-wife, Gae Exton, he had two kids, Alexandra and Matthew. He then had a son, Will, with actress Dana Morosini.
Will became an orphan when he was only 13 years old.

Will has avoided the spotlight as much as possible up to this point, despite the fact that he now resembles his father in every manner.

Will has completed his education and is establishing a name for himself in the sports journalism sector.

Will is now 27 years old, and it is clear that he has inherited his father’s wonderful characteristics; the resemblance between the two is striking.

However, it is not what makes this young man so remarkable; rather, it is the fact that he is carrying on the excellent job that his parents began.

Will could have gone downhill or off track after going through so much trauma at such a young age, but thanks to his parents’ strong guidance and his own strength of character, he didn’t.

“There is something my father used to say and which I use frequently today not only to commemorate his legacy but to instill a new generation with his ageless spirit,” he was quoted as saying in a Daily Mail piece.

Will and his father both had a strong interest in sports competitions, and Will now works as a contributor for ESPN’s Sports Center, fulfilling a promise he made to both of his parents.

He got the job after working as an intern and production assistant at “Good Morning America” while he was going to Middlebury College.

He carries on his parents’ legacy by exploring novel treatments and leading the foundation’s fundraising efforts to support more technological advances for spinal injury patients.

I have no doubt that his parents, if they were still alive, would have been bursting with pride at all that this young man has already accomplished. He is such an example to look up to.
