Bruce Paltrow and Blythe Danner bought the house in 1976, and Jerome Dahan, founder of Citizens of Humanity and 7 for All Mankind, bought it in 2008. Compass’s Robert Lawrence Edie has it on the market for $17.5 million.

The 7,000-square-foot, 1913-built home has six bedrooms and seven and a half bathrooms and sits on a double lot little under a half-acre.

Following extensive renovations, the exterior was converted into a tropical haven complete with lush planting and lighting.

A garden with a fire pit, a Balinese-inspired pool and spa, and many outdoor lounging areas concealed amid thick bushes and tall gates await guests.

A two-story guesthouse with a fitness center, dry sauna, bedroom, and the office is also available.

The interior of the house features a refurbished sitting room with a fireplace, which is accessible via an outstanding glass-enclosed foyer.

Its kitchen includes a marble island, Wolf and Sub-Zero appliances, and a built-in eating area. A home theater and a guest room are included on the main floor.

On the second story, there is an office and three bedrooms with en suite bathrooms, including the modest master suite with two bathrooms and a walk-in closet.

The high-tech mansion boasts solar panels in addition to backup generators, security cameras, and a computerized gated entrance.

She currently lives there with her 51-year-old husband, Brad Falchuck, and their 18- and 16-year-old sons, Apple and Moses, whom she has with ex-husband Chris Martin.
