Meeting a new family member for the first time is always an exciting experience, especially if that new member is a baby! People are almost always eager to meet children, but dogs are no exception.

This video, “Chloe meets Cody,” is a great example of this. The video begins in a bedroom, with mom on one side and baby Cody in the middle of the room in a tiny bed.

Almost immediately, the door opens, revealing Chloe. She’s lucky she’s on a leash, or she’d squish Cody with her excitement! She practically drags her happy owner over to the baby, who is still sleeping in his crib.

Chloe gains traction against the wooden floor and makes her move once she crosses the rug: she says her first “hello”! She clearly isn’t sure how to react, but she definitely wants a better look!

Chloe appears to be completely smitten by Cody, giving him numerous sniffs and never breaking eye contact. Chloe decides to shower Cody with kisses while receiving plenty of pets herself, ensuring the tiny guy is extra clean.

As her owners watch the adorable interaction unfold in front of their eyes, she alternates between giving and receiving attention. Cody, on the other hand, is a good sport and doesn’t seem to mind the extra attention!

Cody is relaxing, Chloe is bouncing up and down, and the owners are clearly overjoyed at the small gathering in this home video. So nutritious!
