Bogdan was able to change people’s perceptions and attitudes about people with mental disorders by attending Eastern European University.
He became his country’s first certified citizen with Down syndrome.

Bogdan’s mother had to walk around several governmental agencies in order to get her son admitted to university; she was helped in this by university employees, and together they were able to overcome the system of unclear attitudes toward “special” persons that had been in place for decades.
Bogdan was a university student who never gave anyone a reason to doubt his passion to learn or his ability.

History became his favorite subject, he read a huge number of historical books, and educators even called him “a walking encyclopedia”.
In the third grade, Bogdan voluntarily helped the university professor organize excursions to his hometown.

After graduation, he was offered a job as a guide at the History Museum.
Furthermore, the young specialist will assist in the organization and delivery of presentations, as well as follow the exhibition catalog and register new types of them.
The museum staff has no reservations about his potential youthful colleague and looks forward to working with him.
