Dominika Clark, a mother of seven and the wife of a British citizen gave birth to quintuplets at a Polish hospital. The couple has 12 children. Five preterm twins that required medical treatment are still in the hospital.

The Polish-British have added five additional children to their already large family. Dominika Clark, who was already caring for seven children ranging in age from 10 months to 12 years, gave birth to quintuplets at one of Poland’s hospitals. Given that physicians calculated her chances of having quintuplets were one in 52 million, the mother referred to her pregnancy as a miracle.
“We planned to give birth to the eighth child, but there were more,” Dominica, who was with her British husband Vince when they encountered the reporters, added.

Having a huge population was less likely to happen to us than winning the top prize in the lottery. As a mathematician, I enjoy these types of statistics.
Dominika reportedly spent 10 weeks in the hospital before giving birth, and the professionals regarded the pregnancy as difficult and complicated. When they were not in Lubin, Vince looked after their family’s older children in Pukacak. The quintuplets still require respiratory care 29 weeks after their surgical delivery.

The youngsters, who had names like Arianna Daisy, Charles Patrick, Elizabeth May, Evangeline Rose, and Henry James, were made up of three females and two boys. With the birth of her five new family members, Dominica claimed that she feels better than anticipated.

We aim to reach a happy moment of releasing each patient from the hospital, said Ryszard Lauterbach, chief of the neonatology department, to reporters.
