Over the years, Augustine tried a number of contraceptives, but none of them were effective. Each pregnancy always took her by surprise.

After her first marriage ended, Augustine started dating José. They had two girls, born two years apart. Six years ago, Augustine discovered she was expecting once more, but this time it was twins.

She was positive that one of the newborns would be a boy this time. Even doctors concurred that having a boy and a girl is much more likely than having identical twins.

When Augustine discovered that both the fetuses were female, he performed something that only happens in every 500,000 cases.

Augustine spends his day cooking eight different meals, doing 42 loads of laundry, and sleeping for barely two hours.

Every day of the week, José works, while Augustina looks after the kids and drives them in a minibus to school.

José works hard to support his family by running a landscaping business.

The father of Augustina Belicia’s first child, a daughter, was her first spouse.

Nielli, 13, Liliana, 12, and Vanessa, 11, were the next to arrive.

I was astounded every time I found out I was expecting, said Augustine. I tried a variety of birth control methods, but they all failed.

With each pregnancy, she was in seventh heaven with excitement.

Daniela, who is now nine years old, was born following Augustina’s second marriage to José.

Zilla, who is now seven years old, was born at that time.

Augustina and José learned six years ago that they will have twins this time instead of a single child.

Augustine was positive that at least one of the children would be a boy. According to the experts, she was also more likely to have a boy and a girl than same-sex offspring.

Despite this, the twins were both females. After Luzelena and Marielena, who are now 6 years old, Analilia, 4, and Aravelia, 2, were born.

Three months later, Augustine received another positive pregnancy test.

The girls were only a few weeks old when Augustine fell pregnant again.

Once again, it was twins. Ladies, once more!

Doctors counseled her that getting pregnant again was preferable to winning the lottery.
