Marianne and Tommy Pilling were one of the couples with Down syndrome who married in 1995. Many did not expect their shared delight to extend for 22 years, and their feelings have only grown stronger over time.

Marianne’s sister created a Facebook page where she uploaded photographs of a wonderful couple; Lindy recently mentioned this gorgeous couple.

“Marianne returned home that first day she met Tommy glowing. She kept bringing him up and inviting him to join us for dinner. Tom proposed to our mother after a year and a half of dating. As a ring, he handed me a toy from a vending machine.

Despite knowing that rumors would spread, Lindy claimed that her mother had approved of the marriage.

“My mother was constantly run over” since she approved of their marriage. She made it clear that it was entirely up to them.

The general public appeared to have moved on after twenty years, and they began analyzing the long-term nature of their collaboration online.
