Chebon, the gorgeous tabby, had been missing for seven years and had little chance of being found. Robert has most likely accepted the fact that unless he receives a life-changing call, he will never see his tiny buddy again.

A kind stranger allegedly called him to let him know that his favorite kitten is safe and sound and that he can’t wait to see him again! After enduring a great lot of heartbreak, Robert experienced something that can only be described as a miracle.

The adorable kitty vanished years ago, just as Robert was preparing to move from California to Ohio. The heartbroken owner decided to postpone his plans and spend the entire year in California looking for his missing pet, but he was unsuccessful.

Robert stated in a video posted on the Ventura County Animal Services website, “I remember one time I was praying and I said, ‘God, I’ll do anything, just get my Chebon back.” Because the cat appeared to have vanished forever, Robert had no choice but to move on.

Then, seven years later, a woman observed a sick cat and decided to catch it and take him to the clinic. Fortunately, the cat she discovered had a microchip, and they were able to instantly identify the owner of the 19-year-old cat who had been living on the streets for years. That’s when Robert found out his cat was still alive.

In the reunion video, Robert commented, “I was scared there was some kind of mistake.” The man decided to board a plane and fly from Los Angeles to see an old friend.

When he finally saw the cat, Robert recognized his friend and fell into tears. After all these years, the two buddies were reunited. The touching event was videotaped by the animal sanctuary and quickly went viral, leading many people to cry.
