According to Turkish media, the incident occurred in Istanbul, Turkey, a city that is home to hundreds of stray cats. When a stray mother cat delivered her youngster to the bedside of a human hospital, everyone in the facility burst into tears.

Merve Ozcan captured this incredible image and shared it on Twitter. “Today, we were in the hospital room when a cat raced in with a kitten in her jaw,” she explained.

In photographs posted to Twitter, a tiny kitten is shown being escorted by its mother to the human room, and personnel, although not being trained to handle animals, instantly responded to the mother’s silent plea. The mother cat followed the kitten about while the doctors fought to save it, never letting it out of her sight.

To calm her down, the carers gave her milk and nutrients to make her feel better. After finding that the kitten was healthy, the professionals moved on to its mother’s health. The two were then taken to a veterinarian to confirm that the mother and kitten duo were in good health.
