Tammy and Emmy Slayton are the stars of the well-known American reality show “1,000 Pound Sisters,” which follows two dangerously obese teens.

They are both currently 34 and 35 years old. They agreed to broadcast their everyday lives to millions of viewers till a few years ago in the hopes of becoming in shape and starting to live life to the fullest.

The sisters struggled with their addictions and with themselves for three seasons. Amy, the sibling who is losing weight and considering surgery, has had the most success.

Amy and Tammy were 185 and 275 kg, respectively, at the time of filming (with Amy having already shed about 50 kg). In contrast to her sibling, she has gained weight and is now close to 300 pounds.

Tammy’s health deteriorated quickly, and she was sent to an Ohio medical rehab clinic that specialized in treating fat patients.

She is still being treated at the clinic for her weight loss and the lung difficulties caused by her fat-related obesity. Tammy is still very passionate about her life’s work.

She often maintains her social media accounts with hilarious videos, updates her fans on her health, and reassures her followers that everything is well.

Tammy met her fiancé, Caleb Willingham, at the treatment center. That encounter marked the start of the first relationship she has ever had that was not based on online dating.

After they had already staged a wedding there, where they had first met, the man proposed to her there.

Many of their shared problems are amenable to discussion. They truly do help each other out now. It’s great, according to the couple’s friends.

The intimate wedding was attended by only the bride’s closest family and friends. This included Amy, the sister of the bride, who had lost weight and as a result was already married and had a kid.
