Jodie Sweetin bought her “first” wedding gown because she felt it was “stunning.”

The popular American sitcom “Full House” aired on television from 1987 until 1995. Fans were able to watch the characters and many of the actors who played them grow over the course of the series.

The late Bob Saget’s character, Danny Tanner, was a widower who sought help from his brother-in-laws Joey Gladstone and Jesse Katsopolis, played by John Stamos and Dave Coulier, respectively.

Danny’s three children, D.J., Stephanie, and Michelle Tanner were all reared by them together. Candace Cameron played the eldest daughter, Michelle was played by Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, and Stephanie was played by Jodie Sweetin.

Sweetin was born on January 19, 1982, in Los Angeles, California. Sweetin began her career as a young child in a variety of television commercials and minor guest appearances before being cast as Stephanie in 1987.

The series was a huge success, teaching families how to cope with loss, learn from their mistakes, and find new, exciting ways to interact. The original series’ main cast returned for the sequel, “Fuller House,” which debuted more than 20 years later. The sequel series concluded in 2020.

Sweetin now has her own family, despite the Tanners’ absence from the screen. Her husband, Mescal Wasilewski, proposed to her on July 20, 2022. According to Sweetin in 2023, the wedding was flawless, and her dress was the first to be tried on.

Sweetin battled in a variety of ways during her stint on “Full House,” including three failed marriages and drug addiction. According to Yahoo! News, the actress went on a downhill spiral that saw her in and out of rehab several times. Except for a few engagements here and there, she was unemployed for many years after her stint on the comedy circuit. She was lucky to find a path to sobriety and is now an advocate for rehabilitation.

Sweetin has continued to perform and appear on television. She also competed on shows such as “Name That Tune,” “Beyond the Edge,” “Worst Cooks in America,” and “Dancing with the Stars.”

She appeared in the romantic comedy “Just Swipe” in 2021, which depicted the condition of online dating at the time. According to TODAY, Sweetin also has a successful love life because she proposed to her lover, Mescal Wasilewski, in January 2022. The wedding was held on July 30, 2022. According to CNN, this was their fourth Sweetin’s marriage. Shaun Holguin was her husband from 2002 to 2006, Cody Herpin from 2007 to 2010, and Morty Coyle from 2012 to 2016.

Sweetin shared a poignant statement on Instagram to mark the historic occasion. “I love you Mescal, forever,” she said in the message. You’re just my kind. I’m excited to see what life has in store for us.

The actress said of her recent engagement, “It’s wonderful.” Sweetin’s entire family agrees. “My kids love it,” she says. They are also great fans. Our little family dynamic is incredible.

When people get married, they typically want everything to be perfect. Many ladies place a high value on finding the perfect wedding gown. Sweetin claimed that she only tried on one dress, as opposed to the majority of brides who try on hundreds—and she happily accepted the gown!

According to Sweetin, several designers volunteered to construct her gown, but she wanted to find something already made because the wedding was just 75 days away. She went to Lili Bridals, the same boutique that supplied the wedding gown for “Fuller House.” Sweetin’s daughter, Zoie Herpin, was the one who eventually located what turned out to be her outfit.

“Zoie was the one who picked it up off the shelf, and it was the first one I tried on, and it was stunning and beautiful,” Sweetin said. The first dress I tried on needed the hem to be changed since it was too long, but everything else fit perfectly. It was almost perfect.

Sweetin shared some gorgeous photographs of herself on her wedding day in August 2022. In the caption of the post, she said, “I can’t stop thinking about this day…”

Sweetin was obviously pleased with her clothing, but she is even more pleased with her life partner. She told PEOPLE

“Mescal provides me with the whole confidence and comfort I require to shine as brightly as I need to. He answers and delivers for my daughters. And we sound fantastic together. He is the best teammate I could have asked for.
