Ivan Fontura is a 92-year-old gentle and kind pediatrician residing in Brazil.
Everyone knows and loves him, both in and out of his hometown.

After all, he is not just an exceptional doctor, but also a caring individual.
He makes free home visits to underprivileged families and treats their children.
He retired at the age of 68, yet he cannot fathom his life without medicine and assisting others.

Every Monday and Thursday, Ivan Fontura provides free routine checks and treats kids from low-income families.
“I’ll work as long as I can,” says Ivan.

He is a very humble and kind person and always helps people, regardless of skin color and financial situation.
“He has a huge heart, he just loves to help others.

“My husband wants his children to have a good and healthy life,” his wife Marta explains.
It is a true story from the real world that demonstrates and confirms that there are good people in the world that value their profession and people’s lives more than money.
And it gives me hope that in a century where practically all problems are solved by money, there is still humanity and people have not forgotten their nature as living creatures.
