For the first time, a deaf daughter hears her mother… Please see the accompanying video!

When a newborn first hears her mother’s voice, she smiles, freaks out, is surprised, and then becomes quite distressed. It’s amazing to witness the range of emotions that are briefly reflected on her face. It is impossible to provide more vivid illustrations of human emotions.

Charlotte (Charly) Keane, two months old, smiles and appears to be holding back tears while being held by her mother Christy.

After acquiring hearing aids and hearing her mother say «hi» and «I love you,» the newborn responds with pure delight.

«Charly listens for the first time and hears me say, ‘I love you,’ for the first time,» Christy wrote on Instagram.

She is as emotional as her mother and holds back tears of joy.

«Today, when Char received her hearing aids, we witnessed the miracle I had hoped for.»

«This was more incredible than words can express because we didn’t think she’d hear anything.»

Her route to implants and language progress has started off beautifully!

Christy’s partner, Daniel, captured the incredible event.

Charlotte smiles and appears to fight back tears as she begins to speak.

I’ve never seen that face before, says Christy.

“Are you feeling upset? I’m going to cry because of you. Will you experience emotions like your mother?

She comments, “You’re very sweet,” as the kid smiles. I cherish you.

August saw the deaf birth of Charlotte.

When she is old enough, her parents want to have her implanted with cochlear implantation and have her work with a speech therapist.
